My dad has it on his, but it’s a company AmEx. Sometimes when we’re out he’ll hand it to me to pay for a meal if he has to run to the restroom or doesn’t feel like dealing with it. I always laugh when the waitress brings it back to me and says Thank You Dr (last name).

If you have the right card, they realize you could pay a month of their rent/car and/or tuition... Your name doesn’t matter.
