My kids are 5 and 8.
Fast doesn’t even begin to describe it. I remember swaddling my oldest, and it seems like yesterday. Now she has an attitude and reads chapter books and is starting 3rd grade.
I’m still her favorite person in the world… for a couple more years.
My son is starting kindergarten, and already reading, and doing addition and subtraction in his head. He’s incredibly smart.
His comedic timing is impeccable and he will roast you without even trying….
Maaaaan, watching them grow is amazing. It’s beautiful and heartbreaking at the same time.

Babies that are put down after falling asleep have much higher rates of waking up during the night, too.
Some do, some don’t.

Gotta put them down when they are drowsy. They may fuss a little but if they are tired then they will fall asleep. The first 3 months are just survival mode. Do what you need to do to sleep but I had mine on a schedule so it was the same sleep time everyday and night time schedule never changed. Babies like schedules.
