You find a competent doctor that knows how to treat it without opioids.
When used chronically opioids make pain worse despite what your body tells you when on them.

Could you be more specific? I know tons of people with crippling lumbar and cervical pain. I'd like to give them your advice.

Are you a PT or something? Why would someone know TONS of people with crippling lumbar and cervical pain?

People dying from abusing opioids who may or may not have started on Oxy and gone on to abuse drugs means the people who created Oxy are evil?
yes. They deliberately marketed to doctors and hospitals, clinics, etc as non-addictive when they knew it was extremely addictive. It was a whole marketing campaign complete with bullshite, doctored scientific findings to support it. The reason it was such a popular prescription was because doctors were led to believe it could treat pain without being addictive. They have blood on their hands.

Pain relievers are among the worst of humanity’s inventions for 2 reasons:
1) Pain is there for a reason. It is a signal. Pain saves lives because it tells us something is going on in our body that needs to be addressed. Pain relievers completely muck up this process
2) something like 80% of heroin users started off with doctor prescribed pain Meds
So severe burn victims, people dying of cancer etc. shouldn't have opiate pain killers because some dumbfricks abuse them?

This is very true.
You can find the ads on youtube with doctors touting it as the non-addictive pain killer alternative.
Unbelievable, considering it is essentially synthetic heroin.
Here's one. Later proven they knew the claims to be false.

Why didn’t HHTM say that when asked repeatedly why the family was evil?
I take oxy/other opioids when my back acts up because without it I’d probably shoot myself.
And I’ve only done heroin like 40-50 times.

Many more cities are jumping on this gravy train.

Sounds like you have evidence of fraud, is that right?

Purdue is just the start of this. The other big pharmas and distributors are guilty as well.
Want to hear something super fricked? Purdue Pharma has developed the most promising "opiate craving control" pill in clinical trials so far. They stand to make another fricking fortune on a pill that helps the epidemic they had a major part in starting.
Its like releasing a virus then magically having the only cure.

It’s well documented in the media and literature. Google ‘Perdue pharma fraud’ unless you’re too lazy to actually learn more about this and want to rest on preconceived generalizations.

There is plenty evidence of deliberately misleading consumers and doctors, now whether or not that is fraud under the eyes of the law, I don't know. But that is why they just settled for $270 million dollars, which is just the start.
They have TV commercials spouting lies on national television about Oxy and internal emails saying they know the "numbers are rough estimates based on very small sample sizes". They were clever to not outright admit to lying.
Another recurring theme is the big pharma companies hiring the lead investigators for the government to come work in the private sector for outlandish salaries. It keeps slowing down the whole process.

I don't have preconceived generalizations. I asked straightforward questions and initially only got dumb rhetoric in response.
Asking questions, by the way, is a good way to "learn more about" things.

Well, I think you asked it in a really douchey way as if you were taking a stance. Maybe he took it that way.
But there is a ton of publicly available evidence about their deception and misdeeds. There was a damn 60 Minutes on it.
It's quite despicable.

Like any doctor or nurse is not going to know oxycodone is addictive. Give me a break.
