My grandfather was on PT boats during WW2. His boat patrolled the "Mason Line" during invasion of Normandy.

A couple of small items that he kept are on that PT Boat in New Orleans. They actually gave myself, him and my father a private tour of the facilities while they were still building it. It was awesome to see. My grandfather ended up passing away a few months after that.

My family got my Dad tickets to ride that PT Boat in Lake Ponchartrain. He was one of the first to ride it. He ended up passing too a few months after of cancer. The smile on his face of the pictures we have of him riding it are priceless.
