FLU is down 97% so far in the United State simply because its more contagious from touching objects and all the sanitizing going on at schools, buses, grocery stores and carts, and people may be washing their hands more fequently.
Covid is more aerosal and people wearing masks greatly helps but still can enter the body through the eyes.
Covid, FLU, and Strep are distinctive tests. They now can do one swab and test for all 3.

Flu season may not begin until December but that doesn’t mean the flu isn’t out there. I know people who have gotten it in September.
