It occurred to me this morning that any time there is a protest, I find that I am for whatever the protest is against. Even when it's something that I might consider valid, the fact that foul, unwashed and often paid "protesters" are there makes me instantly support the opposing side.

So you have no moral convictions and are a weak minded fool.

I do, personally. I just hate that people think I will change my mind or somehow agree with them because they protest. Now, are there certain things I would consider protesting? Yes, like if they wanted to ban all guns, but that is for a different discussion.

But if they protest and you immediately decide to take the opposite stance, they have changed your mind.

I’ve got some time. How do you sign up to get paid to walk around?

Not really, it hasn't changed my mind. I just like to troll/ shite on their cheerios. If I was to ever walk past a protest, I'd choose opposite just to piss them off.

The only way that they haven’t changed your mind is if you have no moral convictions, but you just said you did.

As in no one protesting is going to change my mind. Even if I agree, may I frick with the protesters, sure. It wouldn't even be considered a protest (or maybe it is), but the few times in life I have walked by the religious freaks on microphones yelling whatever they do, I always stop to troll them.
