Their line of thinking is that police brutality against African Americans comes from racist white cops. So in addition to protesting that, they chose Siegen because to them it draws attention to the overall issue of racism in America which is being exemplified by the racist white people of St. George.

That's a reasonable explanation. But doesn't that seem to imply that actions of one particular person represents the purported mindset of a MUCH broader and widespread group of people?

Presumably the purpose of ANY protest is to effect change. It just doesn't seem to be that the most effective way to achieve reforms in police relations with black people is to, in essence, propose the supporters of St. George, the majority which aren't policemen or government officials, are racists, even though they had no part in the events in Minnesota.

It’s EBRSO & they don’t come out in riot gear until they get in the street
Monday they talked & riot cops left, shortly after the protest broke up

It’s been said they aren’t leaving 1st but last night they ended it at 8:30
Per Twitter because of what happened a Monday which as far as I know was Gary & Silky fighting (Gary getting punched, wasn’t much of a fight)

I’m guessing rain will end this nightly protest.
