Now that looks like a classic. How old is it?
At least 32 years old; need to research it a little bit more.
My fiancé keeps saying that the Movado she got me is now minced meet since I keep wearing this.

You may be joking around but this is one of the coolest watches ever made.
Only second to the digital watched that played Dixie. If you did not have a Dixie Watch back in 1983 you weren't shite.

Is that going price these days? I'd pick one up with a quickness if so.

They were only sold in the European market so they are kinda hard to find. You could probably get one for between $300-$500. It's quartz too fyi.

I'm no expert but I'd guess that sounds about right from the looks of it. Cool watch.

So sexy when they peek out from under a cuff. Of course that was said in a deep bass male voice! Ahem.......

I don't like a lot of Tag watches but that is beautiful.

Thanks, I love it. I figured it'd be a good watch to get started with. I also have my grandfather's 1950s Omega, last valued in the late 90s around $31k.

Don't want to burst your bubble but unless it's an Omega Speedmaster that was flown in space or other highly rare watch, I don't think it's worth even close to 31 grand.

That's the value it's insured for so it's obviously higher than it's true value. He was CFO of United Fruit (now Chaquita) and it was given to him as a retirement gift. It has a diamond bezel and all that fun shite.

Here is my favorite right now. Guy bought it at the Naval Exhange in Pearl Harbour in 1967 wore it through out the war as a certified diver. He had no kids so I ended up with it.

Ahhhh, insurance valuation. Got it.
And I don't like Panerai

What is it that you don't like about panerai? Is it just aesthetics?

I'm absolutely dying in wait for my damn watch to be made and shipped. Just make the fricker already! I've already ordered a couple more bands for it and I fear I'll have a stack before it ever comes in.
