AEW is having there 2nd Rally tonight with it being Double or Nothing ticket announcement party.
Does anyone plan on going to Double or Nothing, I know I am and I can’t wait!

They are supposed to be announcing several things tonight (signings, tickets, a second event, maybe a tv deal)

What do you expect to be announced tonight? (Fingers crossed Omega)

What is your opinion of AEW?

Could be interesting. Even though they haven't put on a single event yet, it's run by folks with a wrestling background, and the talent pool thus far is pretty strong.

They should announce ticket prices and an on sale date. Probably will announce some Starrcast details as well. Sting and Bret Hart have already been announced for that. I am hoping we get some matches and maybe an official announcement of signing the Lucha Bros and Kenny Omega. They will probably wait until the actual event to say anything about a tv deal. The second show will be in Jacksonville but there is no date yet.

I'm interested in what the TV deal will be. Having that Khan money behind them will really help. I think they need Omega, not that one signing will make or break them but he's a key signing. I'd also like to see them steal some WWE talent like Dolph and let them play a role.

I dont think they have formally signed a TV deal yet, but they have two offers, both of which are rumored to be Turner level deals (TBS, TNT, etc.)

Will be nothing more than ROH 2.0

You need bigger names than just Jericho, Neville, and Cody to compete with Vince.

Cody, the Young Bucks, and Kenny Omega are the biggest stars not in WWE right now. Kenny is already a bigger name than most everyone currently in WWE. Jericho brings in veteran leadership and they are bank rolled by a billionaire wrestling fanboy. They are not trying to compete with Vince but they should be much bigger than ROH or Impact.

OT - It bothers me that there are pro wrestling threads and I must go in and let my displeasure be known!

That there are adult-children hybrids that spend mental capital on men in shiny underwear, fake fighting, amuses me to no end.

Jericho/Omega main event. That's the smart move.

Jericho-Omega, Bucks-Lucha Bros, and Page-Pac is a good start. The women's division doesn't look good.
