It is possible to beat depression without medication. Pills don’t give you emotional skills. Those are learned and require self-awareness and reinforcement. This cheap paperback takes just a few days to read. I read it 7 years ago and it helped me snap out of a serious months long depression. Meds didn’t improve it at all, and after reading this book I stopped taking them.
This isn’t realistic for everyone, but a good self-help book is far more effective than medication alone.
