I do agrree, and I collect cards. But it has since turned into buy/flip/sell. I would say the micro-trending ruined this market. Influencers and sneaker bros got involved and now it is out of control.
Oddly, most ppl collect Pokemon cards for the art. We are talking about the ultra-modern ones.
But like most things, influencers ruined a hobby for children and goofy adults like myself who can't let go of trauma from childhood.
