There's always been rumors that they met when Meghan was working as a "yacht girl" and that's the real reason they've had so many issues with the royal family. Obviously not the type of thing that will ever be proven or confirmed though.
What I always found so repulsive about them if that they gave up their royal titles in large part because they couldn't stomach the idea of being around average British people doing appearances. They were so desperate to hang out with Oprah and the Davos crowd the idea of opening a library in Sunderland or talking to veterans at some vets group home in the Midlands or whatever was just beyond the pale to them. Can't bear to be paid millions to pretend to be normal, they had to join the jet setter crowd so desperately. Really elitist garbage.

This and so many other takes on this thread are so weird - y’all stressing some strong opinions on Meghan - Harry is a grown arse man who HATED the intense pressure he had to live under well before she came on the scene.
