I member when a law was passed to prevent drug use. That shite didn't work. Some people are messed up.

have. Now, enlighten us why the SC will overturn this law.
No basis and overly broad.

How many here are aware that most euthanized animals end up in landfills?
Are you really that obtuse?
Are you a veterinarian?
Did you read the bill?
This bill would actually reduce the number of animals that have to be euthanized. If these laws are enforced (and it is geared to actual animal cruelty), then you will have the Michael Vicks facing serious fines and jail time.

People should put praise or hate where it belongs. It was bipartisan and the bill was written and introduced by a Democrat.
While I, in general, don't like the idea of expanding federal criminal laws we have an unfortunate need for them due to the expansion of the way the internet allows for a novel iteration of interstate commerce.
HR724 also includes language to prevent prosecution with logical exceptions:
It provides additional exceptions for conduct, or a video of conduct, including conduct that is (1) medical or scientific research, (2) necessary to protect the life or property of a person, (3) performed as part of euthanizing an animal, or (4) unintentional.
