Expect it won't be a bad thing, we have a shitty infrastructure system in America and we have to fix it somehow. Much easier to raise the taxes of people who just uses loopholes and shite to pay less than what they're supposed to

Or how about we just cut out a bunch of our shite spending? We don't have to raise taxes to fix the infrastructure

I have no problem with cutting certain spending but it's not like this is some massive tax hike it's just putting the taxes back to less what they were before Trump

Considering it's supposed to be a stimulus, everyone should get it.

The Feds turned it into welfare. Which is what it is now.
the word stimulus is a poor choice of words.

it's a relief package.

It’s a “relief” package in that the government “must relieve” us of the economic hardship our governors put us in. Typical government, cause the problem just so you can “fix” it with someone else’s money.

Couldn't be because they pay the most could it? So you don't like the fact that individual tax cuts have an end date, but it's cool that your boy Biden is going to do away with them before 10 years is even up?

I happen to work for a corporation that had to pivot from increased market share to increased cash flow at the behest of investors. Adding taxes to the bottom line makes free cash flow much harder now. I guess they will have to fire a few thousand people now because the government decided my corporation doesn’t pay enough if it’s fair share.

Oh no those poor billionaire have to contribute more than the poor. Also billionaires use a shite ton of loopholes anyway so they're rarely actually paying that high in taxes.

So to be clear, you are concerned that the tax cuts will end for you? Because they will end before the 2017 tax act said they would.

Some people are upset at any and all taxation, but by and large, the majority of people are fine with paying taxes, especially on infrastructure projects and on education. What we are not okay with is seeing “Covid relief bills” packed to the gills with millions and billions of dollars going to foreign aid, performing arts centers, and seemingly everything EXCEPT Covid relief.

Same thing for infrastructure. We want to collectively pay for roads, bridges, water systems, and other things that help make us a first world nation, but what % of this bill will actually go towards infrastructure? It should be 100%, but I live in reality and if it’s 80% I’d be shocked.

Even Obama said manufacturing jobs were gone and weren't coming back. Are you telling me he really knew those jobs could come back but was lying? Sorry, you can't claim any of those jobs because your leader clearly didn't think it possible.

We have an ignorant populous and we’re seeing the downfall of our society.

90% of the money went to BS pork spending and other countries. They threw a few bills at the voting base to appease them and distract from questioning all the pointless spending. How can you lose when your strategy is to buy off enough votes with other people’s money?

We do not take in too little tax revenue.

We spend too much on non essential bullshite. Particularly foreign aid.
