So let's risk a shoot out at the Walmart store. What could go wrong?
If a sixteen year old points a gun at cops in his home, will he suddenly turn into a law abiding kid inside the store?
I'm not a fan of no knocks but the dealer won't have 10 pounds of drugs on himself at the Walmart. If you knock on their door and give then 5 minutes, all that fentanyl will be down the toilet.
So that would mean there was less fentanyl available and would probably result in the dealer being forced to answer to the supplier about where that shite went. The goal should not be arrests it should be keeping the public safe and preventing crimes. If the cops cause the dealer to flush the drugs they have prevented multiple crimes, job well done.

Did I say that? No. Do cops frick shite up, I’m sure all the time. Just like doctors frick up and cost people their lives all the time. Airline pilots have screwed up and cost people their lives. You just giving needless examples of this can happen or that.
Difference is neither that pilot or that doctor has qualified immunity that protects them (and their pension) if they frick up. Same for their bosses who institute policies that put civilians and other cops at risk.
There’s no incentive for them to change those policies because it’s OUR money getting spent in settlements when things like this happen.

You've uttered some dumb shite on this board before, but this may take the cake.
It's really not. The vast majority of conservatives absolutely love big government and their enforcers. You're just not smart enough to see it.

Same scenario happened with me. Had intel the person we were after was there. We breached the door announced ourselves cleared living room, moved to side room guy in the room was starting to lift a rifle. Two quick shots and it was over. Was not the guy we were after as he wasn’t there. Always wonder if he was going to fire but I wasn’t willing to find out. Every other time we did a raid they either ran or put their hands up. It’s an intense situation lotta commotion and I honestly feel situation reversed I’m going for my gun as well.

The state of Alabama needs a DOJ investigation but I don’t put any faith in that Gumps gonna Gump

The police have so many resources that they can arrest these guys when they go to Walmart and search their homes then.
I was with you until this nonsense. One step above, just shoot them in the leg nonsense.

Why are you assuming the 16 year old kid was a thug?
I didn't assume, I made a statement of fact.
Now he's a dead thug.

The lack of critical thinking in these posts is absurd.
The police were not looking for a couple dime bags.
You use Swat when there is a chance that the occupants are armed and dangerous
Lol. I promise you, from personal experience, EBRPSO will happily kick your door in with 10 fully armed and loaded deputies over "a couple dime bags." With not a single weapon ever in the house.

Why officers haven't pushed back against leadership in not being kosher with these types of raids when there are other options is beyond me.

Just about everything that happened after 9/11 says you're correct.

Here is my statement of fact
You’re a piece of shite human being
You’re a piece of shite human being

Maybe not but I'm not pulling a weapon on an officer for that charge either

Because the guys that make the teams that execute raids like this are fully on board with it.
And everyone knows what happens to cops who step out of line.

A 16 year old got killed over what is legal in a quarter of the country and you think everything is all fine and dandy.
Is he even old enough to carry a gun? Alabama law says 18 for a pistol.

Obviously not while he is in Walmart, how about when he gets in his car in the driveway?
Did you know they could have arrested David Koresh the day before and prevented all those kids dying at Waco?

He was in his own home. Not walking around town. Is it your opinion that someone under the age of 18 shouldn’t be allowed to be in possession of a firearm in their own home when they could reasonably suspect someone is breaking and entering?
