Hang in there, Fella. Continued prayers.

Can't imagine the pain and turmoil you both are feeling, but I'm glad some ease has been given to you. Keep the faith and the fight bossman.

I can’t imagine what you’ve gone through. I have a one year old that I can’t comprehend losing at this stage in life. All the best to your family.

We will. I've spoken with enough professionals in the field to convert my suspicions to absolutes.

Prayers for peace and comfort.

I wish I could say more than I'm sorry. I have prayed often for you and yours.

Dear God redstick
. You and your wife are in my prayers. I just can't imagine what you two are going through but please know that we all are praying for you.

Yes. The ER doctors cleaned him up the best they could and took my wife and me into the room to say goodbye. I kissed his little head, ran my hand through his hair one last time and told him "I love you my son".
Good grief man, I can't image having to do that.

Well I just read what my worst nightmare looks like.

Hopefully it'll give y'all some sense of peace. I just can't imagine going through something like that. Keep giving us updates. We feel kinda vested in this too.

Praying for you guys. Not enough words to say how incredibly awful that must feel.

May God bless you and your wife. I can't imagine how much of a living hell you guys have been in over the last month. I wish there was something I could say to you other than I will keep you and your wife in my thoughts and prayers. I hope you find answers. After everything that has happened, you two at least deserve that.

Brother she is the strongest woman I've ever known. She went to the podium during the services to read a scripture and encourage everyone in the gallery. It was the most moving thing I have ever seen with my own eyes. Here is a woman suffering the unimaginable and she's standing in front of a crowd giving words of encouragement in her second language. It was simply incredible.

Redstick, may eternal light shine on your precious little boy.
Its my belief that at death you are reunited with your loved ones who have gone before you. That belief has always provided me a small comfort when loved ones have passed.
Its been very heartbreaking reading about you and your wife's ordeal.

This is a "free standing ER" not an urgent care or clinic. The bag in his picture is a liter bag. No pump and no buretrol is sub standard. A new trend with these independent free standing ERs is to "obs" patients. Like a 23 hour observation status. Some of these are necessary and a nice thing to offer, but some are just a cash grab with ever changing give and take between insurance and health care. Obs on a pedi patient who looks like your boy did in that pic is just ridiculous.
The IVP could have been Glucagon? This medicine is only given with very low blood glucose levels. Giving glucagon to the kid in that picture is excessive.
Pressure bag? A pressure bag is foolish on a pedi patient. And to use it on an IV with questionable placement is lazy.
The cash of putting people in "obs status" causes some of these places to over reach.
Red, I know I am saying this all "matter of fact". Never lose the fact that I am so damned sorry for your loss.

It goes without saying once again how sorry I am for your loss. I think I speak for many of us here when I say updates on your next course of action would be welcomed. Best of luck to you and your family.
