Honest and not ugly question: did she recently take a flu shot? Guillian-Barre can sometimes (not often) happen.

Friend of mine was diagnosed with this quite a while after many symptoms presented as other things. I’ve seen patients at the ltc facility where I work with it as well.

Prayed for strength and comfort for you and your family. I just had back surgery to remove a tumor from my spinal cord last month. Im due for a spinal tap next week and for some reason Im dreading it more.
