I’m assuming Nevada is a mistake and the person entering the number forgot to hit the shift key on the 4. Ditto for North Dakota.

If only I knew what a "PPP" loan was to offer my meaningless opinion.

Friend of mine got approved for $800k yesterday and he hasn’t lost a cent of business.

He’s just going to take whatever he has to pay back at 1% over 2-3 years.

I got a good 5 figure number but mine is legit and will be put to use as it’s designed to.

One of the new loans derived from the stimulus bill to help business pay employees for the next couple of months.

Your friend is smart. The loan won’t be 3 years, it will be two. If I were him I would use the loan proceeds to pay payroll exclusively and use the funds derived from operations to either pay down debt, invest, or do significant capital projects and gain new customers.

The loan can still be forgiven regardless of whether you were losing money. Just have to show that the funds were directed to payroll expenses. Then basically your profits that normally would go to payroll just go into your pocket.

I agree with this guy, some banks are moving much faster than others.

If they aren't trying anything they can to help your business right now, then they don't deserve your money

The funds can also be used for other "overhead" expenses such as mortgage payments, rent, utilities.
