There was definitely a tornado that came thru northern bossier parish last night. Just northeast of the town of Benton. My deer camp sustained some pretty bad damage. The trailer my dad, brother, and myself stay in was completely destroyed. Probably would have died if we were sleeping in it at the time it came thru. Thankfully, our buggies were not damaged, as they were the only thing of any worth at the trailer.

No telling how many stands are destroyed.

My in laws live in that area and lost about 14 trees. Thankfully they were not hurt. They probably won’t have power at their house for about a week.

Also, there was some damage to some homes in the area. A guy we know parents house had the 2nd floor of their house taken completely off of their house while they were sleeping in it. Scary shite.

Nope... still no power... the CLECO outage map now says I should have power by 8:30

I'm not holding my breath

Horrible! I know the area very well as I used to live in Pollock. My mother-in-law is going to go through withdrawals without Dairy Queen No lie!

CLECO has missed its estimated time of restoration for a 2nd time

let's see if the 3rd time will be the charm... it's now "estimating" last time I checked

So freaking frustrated right now

the people across the street from me have power but I don't

And apparently CLECO is finished working for the night

Screw the Entergy hate... I never had this kind of issue with Entergy... I'm severely disappointed in CLECO right now

Wasn’t verified, but pretty sure a small tornado bounced through our neck if the woods near the St. Helena/Tangipahoa Parish line at Hwy 440 this past Sunday.

A huge oak uprooted at my brother’s house and a neighbor about 1/3 mile to the SW had a metal building destroyed. Nothing else around was torn up.
Also noticed two other spots NE of my brother’s where individual trees had huge limbs broke off while surrounding trees were untouched and not even small limbs broke.
