Popped knee

My patella is not on the top of my knee after I popped it just now I fear I did permanent damage to my knee. Any advise would be helpful it hurts.

It is probably dislocated. It might come back into place on its own if you bend and straighten it back out.

Been there, about 10 surgeries between both knees
Need to see ortho
If it hurts that’s good, means muscle isn’t stretched out

Stayed stuck out to the side for a few minutes while my parents freaked the frick out
I remember just sitting there frozen, happened as I went to sit on couch
