Devil's advocate: It doesn't have to be extremely deadly as long as people fear it's extremely deadly. Can also make the argument that it's just an early test run or an early version that escaped/was released if you want to argue that route as well.

Man made. China been eating bats and playing with coronavirus for years you telling me this is the first time someone nicked themselves while butchering a bat or got one that was under cooked. If so this thing would have turned loose years ago just like food poisoning in the USA. Would be like salmonella or ecoli. Not buying this bs for a second.
