Was the window up? Has that been confirmed? What I've seen, its hard to tell.
That doesn't change the fact that this man is going to a car that was said to possibly blow up, ignoring orders. So, as a cop, what are you supposed to think he is doing?

Definitely doesn't justify it, but it will be something to consider during he thorough investigation.
Should there be some sort of rule that if you can't fully comply.. for whatever reason.. then they will first detain you.. for the safety of both? I don't know if I agree with that.. but at least they would still be alive? Again, I am just grasping.. and even admitting to being ridiculous.
I still want to know if they can make a human-like net for these situations. Or go all cowboy and lasso these individuals backing away.
I hate that it has come to this.. that police are probably more nervous, on edge, or more reactionary in general than ever.. but it is part of their job. I just want smarter/better decision making officers.. but that's an ideal want. I am at least pleased with the body cameras becoming more prevalent. Helps keep both sides accountable.

Dude, way to jump to conclusions. I didn't say you made it up. I meant that I've seen media frick shite up on the regular in their rush to break a story, especially now that they all tweet.

Police have several non lethal alternatives to use. In this situation, the female cop did not allow for them to be used.

Realize they have no rights. I mean let's drop the pretense that most people have any right against illegal search, or seizure, self-incrimination, or that they have any permanent interest in the property they own. Also, we should admit that people that engage in non life threatening situations are killed at the discretion of law enforcement for disobedience.
Lastly, that it's in their best interest do everything a cop tells you or you could be killed.
Basically what we agreed to before about acting as if every time you get pulled over, treat it as if you're being held up at gunpoint.
