Police officer says "Buy these tickets or I take your car"

I love the officer's comment in part 2 about the pink windshield wipers, and how he misses the irony in that breast cancer pink shite goes to a real charity.
I'm going out on a limb here and guessing that this cop keeps his job. Sadly, extorting citizens and effectively taking bribes is not a fireable offense.

I would be SHOCKED if the cop lost his job or even received a pay cut. Your snide comment is probably spot on though. He is likely to get more heat for using a derogatory term than he is for using his position in government to extort private citizens.

He is on administrative leave while the department looks into it. And from reading the Chief's remarks sounds like he will without a doubt be fired and possibly be charged.
The guy is just an idiot and shouldn't be a cop but in the grand scheme....the guy was just trying to raise money for a charity. I don't see this as criminal.....just stupidity. Fire him and move on.

I'd gladly pay $20 to avoid any type of actual ticket. The things some of y'all complain about cops doing are so ridiculous. I wish every cop gave me that option.

I can't believe this video was posted. A real ticket for anything will set you back at least $100 and most likely more. This guy got off with $30.
