2015 Police Killings - 995
2016 Police Killings - 963
2017 Police Killings - 987
2018 Police Killings - 593

They really want to get that 1000th kill. Think they will get it this year? Five full months to go…

If it happens, they will probably have a parade for the officer who gets it. Even the city will print shirts that say: whatevercityhere Strong

You think that’s a lot for a country of 326 million people?

That’s 0.0003% of the population.

Compared to other developed countries? Yes. That’s a lot per capita.

Numbers should be higher. Imagine if they didn’t have tasers, pepper spray or body cams

What's the statistic for officers killed in the line of duty compared to other developed countries?

It’s amazing how close the numbers are to be honest. Something completely random like that falls so evenly

The irony. You ever wonder why these other countries aren't "developed"?

Germany shot and killed a total of 7 ppl in 2012

They’re like a 4th of us, so 28 compared to 1000
