Police: Deputy killed man after girlfriend tried to grab gun

Brown was arrested after the shooting on a charge of attempted first-degree murder of a police officer

Look at the KLFY TV station report, they have the LSP quoted report. Station a scuffle occurred with brown and the officer while on Dejauns back then shots were fired. Dash cam video is being investigated and will be reported at a later time.
The family of Dejaun is "asking for prayer for strength, not to make this a race thing!" Quoted directly from his sister. Pray for all involved, because the family has already forgiven the deputy, and is asking for justice to be served and put to an end.

SHe needs to be charged heavily for sure. But 1st degree attempted murder is a huge overcharge. If they really want any kidd of conviction, they will drop it down to aggravated battery and obstruction or whatever "interference" charge there is. Plus some other tag-ons.

That's what pisses me off about all of this. Black on black crime happens all day every day. In many situation, innocent black people are getting killed for being in the wrong place at the wrong time.. But don't let the police engage in a situation that results in him having to use his gun for self defense.
I am not at all a racist dude, like stupid people from all races, its the ignorant black people who say stupid shite and to say "the KKK has infiltrated the police departments". If the KKK's goal is to kill black people then they don't have to infiltrate the police departments, they just have to sit back and watch them kill each other.

I don't know if this still occurring, but just last year, there was only one deputy patrolling the whole parish of Evangeline, not much backup to send

This is so sad. At a time when we just had a two term black president, a segment of the population insists on believing the KKK is still a thing. And the insidious belief that cops are out there committing genocide against blacks is worse than sad, it's dangerous.
