There have been several burglaries of gun shops/ranges in the metro area recently.

They're all scary and saddening, but any officer involved shooting is going to be national news for the next few weeks, even though Dallas and BR are a different animal.

Police were using an armored police vehicle to make entry into the gun store, Wallace said shortly before 8 a.m. Tuesday.
Sounds like they are tearing the place up. I can see them destroying the store and then telling the owner: "OK it's safe now" and then just leaving. What happened to sending in the K9?

I'd use smoke or tear gas before a K-9.

I doubt they send a K9 into 4 armed suspects in a small gun store. That would be a death sentence.

I guess we need a new crime category. Let's call it black-on-blue crime.
