Feral cats rarely kill for survival or for food, particularly those in neighborhoods where people insist on feeding them. They kill indiscriminately for sport.

I can tell almost immediately what killed a bird. If there are just a few feathers, it was a hawk. If all that remains is the wings and a few bones, it was a raccoon. If you find a mangled body largely intact, it was a cat.

It is easy to say, "Awwww....they're just cats!" until you have a sorry arse person show up in your neighborhood and six months later it is covered up with cats running wild.

I will always side with the birds when those cats are only in the area because of some shitty, lazy fricker allowing them to roam and reproduce at will. That's not part of the natural process, and it isn't a good thing. Call me psycho if you want, but you damn well better be loving on Fluffy and its 47 brothers and sisters when they show up in your area.

Exactly, not sure why I got downvoted for suggesting bringing in falcons. They will help stop cat overpopulation. My parents had a couple of cats to keep the mice away. They would feed them every so often but not much. Just enough to keep them around and destroy the field mice. Pretty soon they started mating. In moved some hawks of some sort and foxes. 1 kitten might survive every year. I don't think any tomcats are even coming around anymore. Falcons and foxes will frickup some cats... They will also destroy quail populations too unfortunately

The fact that you can't understand the problem says even more.

I'm not advocating to kill your precious. I'm advocating to kill the feral cats that have no place in ecosystems.

Do you know what else falcons and hawks kill? Smaller birds.

Trap, spay, and release works just fine. No need for killing animals, just because you don't like them.

Except it allows them to continue killing. That's the flaw.

Feral cats are no different than feral hogs. They're only believed by some to be different because they're cuter. We kill hogs because they are a nuisance. So are the feral cats.

Falcons and hawks are a natural part of the ecosystem.

So, you really don't give a shite about protecting the birds? With your views on cats, that's not surprising?

I don't give a shite about protecting birds because I said that hawks and falcons are a natural predator within ecosystems and that feral house cats are not?

Just like always, Dale, you're a fricking moron who has no issues proving how much of a moron you are.

frick off now. Remember, I'm a psycho.
