I am praying for you. Just spend time with him, tell him you love him, and just think hard about all the questions you want to ask him before he goes, and of course, ask him those questions.

I lost my dad recently. You won’t think of everything you need to ask, but try.

Just be there for him and comfort him.

May God's grace and mercy be with you, your father, and your family. Amen.

Just prayed that he would allow our Lord and Savior into his life, even at this late moment. Jesus does not care when, but just we do. I pray he has a an easy transition to eternity with our Father.

I had a discussion about reconsidering his beliefs last night. He was more receptive than I expected, but he's not completely there yet. If you reading this are a believer, please say a prayer for him and that he will reconsider.

Just tell him you love him.

I promise what you will think back on later will be whether you are 100% sure he knew or not.

Please repeat to him that it is going to be alright. Soothing and comforting are really what you can offer.

I pray that your father will indeed reconsider his beliefs. My prayer is that he professes Jesus as his Lord and Savior. I pray that God rewards your father just as the workman in the vineyard who came at the last hour!????

Prayed specifically for Paul. That his heart would be open. For you, that you would have the words to say what he needs to hear. I have been through this recently, so also prayed for your peace afterwards. Know you did what you could.

Prayers for your father to find peace before he passes and for you and the fam to have peace with his decision. Try to keep him comfortable and tell him how much you love him and how he has impacted your life. At the VERY end (hours/minutes), do not hesitate to plead to the nurses to up the dosage so he doesn't have to keep fighting and can just fade out without struggling. Hang in there and remember that "this too shall pass."
