If it’s not one thing it’s the other. First a fricking boat knocks out the bottom of it and now a dump truck.. where are they hiring these people from?? fricking Kenya?

True. There are only so many ways to cross the river...but once you cross many people still have to get across the intracoastal some way. While the "new" bridge gets a little over 100,000 vehicles a day...the intracoastal gets about 50,0000.

The boat/crane hitting the Sunshine Bridge, the dump truck hitting the intracoastal bridge, and the repairs to the intracoastal bridge expansion joints are all three completely unrelated events. Other than two of them happened on the same bridge and the other happened to a bridge.
