There is nothing the Metro Council can do. If they were smart they would be protesting at the legislature. They would probably get more exposure.

Like Delgado said, this is about Heavy G getting on tv. Getting cops fired is a tertiary concern.
Also, he doesn't have any political allies at the AG's office, but he does on the metro council so he's picking a battle where he knows he can influence some of the folks fighting.
