I like the PA28 too, did my single engine training in that aircraft.
When I was a student in central Texas there was a 1900 foot tall tower, which put it about 3000 msl, a few miles NW of us. I learned about that guy the first week of training.

Know as "The Tower of Power" when it was built. If I remember correctly they lowered the top section do to an engineering issue during construction.
