I loved the BBQ chicken pizza at that ghattis location. I ate the buffet three times a week during my first two years at lsu

In recent times, this would be my pick too. So good.

Nostalgia pick would be the place on Nicholson a couple of blocks north of campus called Blue Bird Drive-In. Incredible milk shakes, etc. It closed in the late 70s I think. The chocolate chip shake was my go to order.

My brother used to buy liquor and cigarettes at Vince's when he was in high school.

I remember a place called Uncle Ben's Fried Chicken around that location in the '70s...they also had ice cream. Dad would take us there after swim practice at LSU for dipped soft-serve ice cream cones. Awesome chicken too.

ETA: Just realized doubleb said Uncle Ben's too.
