I have never seen any pit bulls around where I live. I have seen a couple at the feedstore and I know the hog chasers use them.
If I walked dogs in an area where there are pit bulls or other dogs that might attack mine, I'd carry something where I could shoot the dog if it was trying to kill my dog.

Yeah I live in a breed restricted community and our dogs do day care and boarding as a breed restricted place that has behavior checks too.

Never been a PitBull fan. I guess mainly because some were used for dog fighting down here.

It is really sad that we live in a society where we have to have a "breed restricted community." Seems like a lot of pit bull owners have them because they are showing off how badass their dog is.
I was astonished they didn't file charges against that guy. It also looks like an apartment complex - why would they allow that big dog in a high-rise apartment complex?
I walk my dogs around my neighborhood all the time and I've never seen a loose dog or some dog I thought would attack mine.
