For Monroe folks, the Ouachita Astronomy Club is holding a star party on Aug 11 in Oak Ridge. It’s for the Persied meteor shower but there’s going to be a lot of nice telescopes out there. Saturn has been up lately, it would be great to see it through one of their setups.
