Yep, same one. He got around.

One of Peter and Gordon’s biggest hits “I go to pieces” was actually written by Del Shannon. Most people at the time thought P&G wrote it.

According to the BLS CPI calculator, $1,650 in 1974 is the equivalent of $10k today.
