Anybody else's mom have a collection of these state spoons? For whatever reason my mom could never find Rhode Island.

I'm old enough to have actually worked with these in their late stages.

An old friend (RIP) worked as an assistant editor and attended the SMPTE convention where the first Ampex video recorder was revealed. It nearly caused a riot as the SMPTE President gave a short speech with monitors all around the room. He walked off stage, and then the monitors showed him giving the same speech again. The engineers thought they were being tricked and were pissed. Then the curtains opened up where was the Ampex Quad video recorder.

The glory days of Pizza Hut! It was a good day when pawpaw or mawmaw took you there for pizza, pitchers of coke, and Pac-Man

What about Bert's camera and records? I remember where Tony's is now was a service station. My family moved out of that area sometime during the seventies. In the 50's NBR was the place to live since a lot of men worked at the plant. When they had enough money they moved to south Baton Rouge. Delmont Village started losing customers to Bon Marche. I haven't been in that area for over ten years. Is Piccadilly still over there in the old Delmont Village? I went to high school with the current owner of Tony's. He was a year younger than me and he was friends with my younger brother. Bill and my brother were caught shop lifting in the old Shoppers Fair. Time is really flying by. That area was nice when I was a kid.

Bailey vs. Jennifer

The 70s/80s version of Mary Ann vs. Ginger.

Bailey, every day.

Same here. Jennifer looked to be very high maintenance, while Bailey looked like the typical pretty girl from next door.

Also worked out the same for me between Mary Ann and Ginger. Ginger looked like she was waiting for a limo and Ginger looked like she'd be happy riding in a pick-up.
