When was the last time you saw those old style door openers with the pads?

There was a mom and pop grocery store in Wisconsin Dells that still had them ten years ago. May still be in use.

This thread is one of my favorites. But it also pains me because it reminds me we once were a great and vibrant culture. I’m blessed to be old enough to have experienced it, but cursed to be young enough to live to see it destroyed.

Those bumper guards are call “Dagmars”… after the actress.
