It could be her, same type curly hair...
You have to remember a 14y/o looked much older back in 1925..
Yeah, but my man EC, the other two things I put in the post.. and one more I didn't:-
No.1 The photo is clearly not her -- her facial features, nose, etc.
and,
No. 2, as per multiple sources, she only started playing golf casually around 1932/33, and from 1934/35 on played golf exclusively (prior to that she was a multisport athlete and Olympic medal winner in track and field events).
and,
No. 3 I did a Google Image/Google Lens search on it to confirm. It's actually a photo of heiress Muriel Vanderbilt playing golf at Pebble Beach about a month before her upcoming wedding...

James Cash Penney (1875-1971)
Young Sam Walton worked in a JC Penney's in Des Moines in 1940.
JC Penney himself (on a visit to the store) taught Walton how to wrap a package with the minimal amount of paper.

Doing well enough as can be expected, old pal. Keeping busy, but not TOO busy.
Got one daughter off the payroll; working on the second.

Gulf Shores, Alabama - Beachfront Motorhome Park before Hurricane Frederick wiped most everything out on the shoreline. The condominium towers sprang up after the storm.
