"The Bottle", Auburn, Alabama 1924. This is the intersection of 280 and HW 147. This intersection is still called The Bottle and one of the most dangerous in the state until it was re-engineered recently.

Probably from the mid 60s. Steve Martin would have been 10 years old in 1955.

That’s definitely a revolver, but the most famous automatic pistol in the world was invited in 1911. So saying automatics are rare in the 60’s is just misinformed.

Las Vegas wants you spending money on casino's, not stds

Entertainment has surpassed gambling in terms of profits in Las Vegas, I want to say 2018.. 2019 is when entertainment started to become more profitable. I am assuming having a new NHL team there at the time played a big factor along with hotels doing temporary resistance instead of having performers have a resistance for several years.

And now with an NFL team.. And of course the most popular WNBA team.

Why the hell is that engineer still in there? I would have scrammed before it came to a full stop...

That little crane in the pic isn't going to do it. That's for construction, not a wrecking crane.

My guess is they would have to build up blocking underneath the locomotive so it could be pulled out. On the left you can see they have started building something as that walkway wouldn't be part of the bridge.

I'm surprised it didn't go through completely. The drawbar between the locomotive and tender has to be holding the rear up. (They didn't use couplers between locomotives and their tenders. There's a solid steel drawbar in there.)

Here is a model train thread.

Probably like a lot of people, I'm kind of interested in the subject but don't know a whole lot about it.

Why don't you bookmark that thread and bump it whenever you have something to post about the subject, as you seem to be something of an expert on it.
