Perimeter was Goodwood, Lobdell, Government St and Finchley. It was mostly woods in the 60’s. Finchley was great back then

For me an oscillating fan was a fixture in my childhood.

20 years ago I was tickling my wife and she playfully smacked me which ruptured my ear drum. Without a fan running I'm pretty sure the ringing in my ear would drive me insane.

Of course it's a box fan. I was reminiscing about my particular childhood. The point being many of us grew up with fans as the primary means of cooling off and then we graduated to fans and one window unit AC for the house.
