The oldest person in that photograph is probably 35 years old.

Hard hitting, action packed CABARET STORIES!!
"I asked for ketchup, NOT COCKTAIL SAUCE!"
"Just leave a pitcher of water on the table"
"We're four separate checks, but we're going to push our tables together."
"I may be sending the meal back, but I'm keeping some of it in a doggie bag"

We had a Lil General down the street from us in Metairie. After it closed, it became a counter service only Popeye’s, probably one of the first five.

This is not a painting. This photograph was taken in 1911 by Francis James (FJ) Mortimer, a pioneer of pictorial photography. Here he captured the shipwreck of the Arden Craig, a three-mast wheat ship that crashed into the rocks with nine feet of water after the captain became disorientated in heavy fog.

One of the earliest “crushes” I had as a child in the early 70s was the drummer. And this right here is why…
… I had to be 4 or 5 years old at best. I didn’t know why, all I knew is anytime they showed her playing the drums like that, I liked it, I liked it a lot.

Ah, the fake American Indian, Sacheen Littlefeather, who spoke against how Native Americans were treated in life and film on behalf of Marlon Brando when he won Best Actor for his portrayal of Vito Corleone in "The Godfather".
Her mother was French, German and Dutch and her father was of Mexican heritage.

They were all over New Orleans. We had one about a mile from my house. It was literally right across the street from a Time Saver.
