It was pretty iconic, wish they never took the plane away, but I understand.

When I was based out of Norfolk, there was a US Navy EC-121 that flew out of there. When it took off, you didn't have to look over your shoulder to know what it was. That sound was unmistakable. A beautiful design even in gray paint.

there’s supposedly a couple of those parked out in the boneyard that the Navy took delivery of and never flew, essentially brand new when exiled

I would love to see them if they are still there. I was at Davis Monthan a few years back and if they were there, I guess I missed them :(

Should have connected the slide to the plane exit.

Stuff like that is so cool. A buddy of mine has Polaroid pictures he took of the helicopters left behind at chernobyl. There are white orbs in all the pics and we always joke that it's the radiation. I'm not sure if that equipment graveyard is still there

I thought those were the aliens coming by to inspect and study the aftermath. That's what I always heard on Art Bell's Coast to Coast show.

70's actress Mathilda May - she and Natasha Henstridge (sp?) are the only two actress who were in mainstream films where they were nude throughout the entire film.

Ms. May had a very nice figure.
