I wouldn't drive it hardly ever. I'd buy a house and modify it so I could drive it into my living room. Just basically look at it. Do a gumball every 5 years or so.

If you like euro styling, go for it. The thread title was pick any vehicle you want. You want a defender. Me? Not even in my top ten. If I'm looking foreign rather than domestic, a 1980 Toyota FJ45 would be sweet.

Saw a defender on a trailer in Mandeville at a restaurant the other weekend. Almost stopped to see what it would take to buy it. When I move to Houston soon, I hope to give my wife my tahoe, use her tdi jetta to commute, and get a restored bronco or defender as a personal vehicle.
