Hunting for the best spot to take photographs of Shreveport's 4th of July fireworks show. Any suggestions for locations that won't be too crowded for a great view of the buildings , the river and open sky?

That's not fireworks, it's a typical night in Cedar Grove.

From the middle of Barksdale AFB with a squad of fully armed service members and air cover. It's about the only safe place to watch in that area of the state.

If it’s your first rodeo:

Tripod
ISO 100
F/8-F/11
~1/2” exposure
Makes for a good starting point
