Phones/Apps Are Becoming Increasingly a Threat to One's Privacy

Whether accidentally Facetiming someone while dressed in jammies and with night-night hair or almost hitting the Facebook Video button while on the pot making a boo boo, these new phones/apps seem intent on getting innocent people busted.

Lots of apps track what you do behind the scenes, and the NSA (along with ad agencies) buys that info. This might sound yoga girl-ish, but it's true.....the NSA records every phone call and text from every person in the US

I wonder if they enjoy it when scam telemarketers spend 15 minutes talking to Pete Moss or Ben Dover.

They use a computer program to sort through calls and listen for keywords or combinations of words so they don't have to listen to every call. They do store all of them for reference though.
Say the program flags a raghead as a jihadi. A person listens to that specific call after that. They immediately pull all calls made to and from that person, and to and from the people they spoke with and scan those. Things can either escalate or go away from that point.
Or if you have someone who wants to hear what a specific person has been doing, they can get those records

Blackberry Priv has the DTEK app. its a security app produced by BB. It keeps count of which apps are pinging you and checking your location and how often they do it. Damn newspaper and NBC affiliate were the worst offenders. Told me enough so that I went into those apps and turned off the permissions. I mean does the newspaper really need to check my location 100 times a day?

How else do you think those behavioral ads work? The ads that seem to know what you specifically like or looking for. Tech companies like Google have been known to work with the NSA too. Privacy isn't much of a thing anymore because of the internet.
