Not really sports related.

Sanchez joined fellow Eagles Cody Parkey and Donnie Jones, who dressed up as Ghost Busters, at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia to bring some smiles to kids' faces.

Pretty awesome of them.
Many sports teams visit the pediatric wards of the hospitals in their area. Carson Palmer recently came to my work to visit the kids. We've also had other Cardinals players, Dbacks players, and Coyotes players(hockey) visit the kids. When I worked in BR, Shaq visited OLOL(he still visits there on a regular basis from what I hear). I realize many times they get good PR out of it as well, but it really does make the children happy and distract them from having to be in the hospital(esp near holidays). I never get to meet any of them cause I work nights, but I've come on to work after their visits and it's quite adorable seeing the patients tell you all about who visited them that day with the excitement in their eyes as they are showing you the goodies the guys gave them.

Is Carson Palmer as dreamy in real life as he is on TV nurse?

I didn't get to meet him
Again, working nights I miss out on all that. I also didn't get to be there when all the hot MLB baseball players from various teams came during spring training(nurses were drooling over their pics for weeks on our floor....now those guys were freaking hot)
He specifically came to visit one family that had been in a car accident(family members contacted him asking if he would visit), so he wasn't there with cameras to document the visit like they usually do for sports visits to the hospital. That right there made me think he was pretty awesome.

.
why is it women always think baseball players are so good looking? Most baseball players I see don't appear to be in as good a shape as a football player. Is it the money baseball players make? Are the football players too big?

Sam Bradford usually looks like a 12 year old kid dressed up as Sam Bradford

Because these guys were really good looking. And likely cause they have more normal builds than a really big, bulky football player.

sucks you never get to meet any celebs. why the night shift? is that your call or the hospitals? My wife worked nights at the vet school- by choice. Only celeb she ever met was Patrick Swayze. His horse was in ICU and he'd visit after midnight to avoid the commotion. I never thought much of him, but he must've been some charming in person cause she didn't shut up about him for a week.

LUCKY!!!! I would have loved to have met him when he was alive. I've heard he was super nice and very gracious IRL too. No wonder she didn't shut up for a week, I would have done the same thing
