Like I said earlier, once it’s available they will make it mandatory for their workers, why wouldn’t they?

you can't get much more isolated than a nursing home and they've gotten destroyed by this.

the people largely unaffected went about their business as usual then built their immunity by catching COVID?

With all the unknowns, taking the path of "let's get 150 million of our country infected with this thing" would have been a bit of a gamble.

You are still wrong

It will be available for us early in 2020. It won’t be close to being required

About 5 - 8% of the US population has been exposed in 9 or 10 months. (Caveat: The number could be higher if asymptomatic people were never tested. But the percentage of the population exposed is no more than 12 or 15%, and likely much lower.)

Do you think that a vaccination program will get us to herd immunity faster or letting things run its course? My vote is for the vaccination program.

Now you are speculating after earlier saying you knew it was required for nurses at HCA. Come on, man.

The vaccines just started to ship out. The vaccine will be mandatory for those workers. Was I unclear?

You were very clear when you said Jan/Feb

Would you like to stick with HCA requiring the vaccine for employment then?

Why don't you explain to the rest of the class why you put the name in 3 parentheses.

Which is when it should become more readily available.

Absolutely, as you've stated previously it will become mandatory like other vaccinations.

I mean...hospitals are not making it mandatory but you think mandatory vaccines are going to be a widespread thing?
quote:

Depends on the hospital, I know several nurses that will be required to get the vaccine.

Now you are acting like your statement wasn’t intended as a statement of current fact as opposed to speculation about what you think will be required in the future.

The context and statements are there in print. Crawfish all you want.

ok, but can I do it in the original context or do you want to qualify it some more to try to change it?

Why don’t you just own it?

Are you saying that they will not be required to receive the vaccine? Is that your argument?

My argument is that in response to someone saying hospitals are not requiring it, your response was it depends on the hospital because you know some nurses that will be required to get it.

That wasn’t true and now you are trying to qualify your statement and change the context.

You were full of shite. Own it.

How do you know that it’s not true? Do you work there or are you just googling to see if there is an official statement from the hospital?
