I once blocked someone like you in for fun on i-10 towards Siegan from nola, I'm going 10 over and passing people, he then decides to ride my arse, I'm in no hurry and in for some fun. Slowed down and had him riding my bumper but he couldn't pass on the right because of some grandma. There is a slight hill and then it levels out right before Siegan.. Unbeknownst to him - but known to me as I had just come from Siegan going to highland - there was a cop shooting radar. I let him have enough space and he zoomed around me, rolled his window down and gave me the bird. Right as he speed into view of the cop. Cop chases him down and pulls him over. I roll my window down and give him the bird. Sweet Karma. Drive a safe distance behind me and I might let you pass- douchebag.

That is true, but riddle me this:
If I am passing a vehicle in the left going 95 mph, will the cop say it is okay because you are passing in the left lane. The code also states you are to drive the speed limit in ideal conditions.
The speed limit is still 70 mph. I know folks get upset over basic logic. It is silly to get upset over this. I have driven 90 mph and 70 mph and guess what- there is always a vehicle impeding my travel.
V = d//t. As soon as I finished developing my spatial configuration based on quantum physics all vehicles will be able to drive in a spatial dimension unimpeded by any other vehicle.

Should be noted that road rage wouldn’t happen if the traveling public would learn how roads work. Skittish, indecisive, and unconfident drivers cause more accidents than road ragers. Riding slow in the left lane. Not knowing the difference between a stop sign and a yield sign. Inability to read and observe signs that say “do not stop, keep moving.” Failing to get up to speed on an entrance ramp and then unable to pick a spot to merge. Stopping or slowing way down in the middle of a freeway because they missed their exit. I see this kind of crap every day. I’m not taking the blame for getting pissed with these people.

I fully acknowledge it's irrational behavior. The driver's can't hear me, and morons will always moron, and they will always be with us, so it's an exercise in futility. Working on just letting it go.
It's not that they aren't doing what I want; it's the complete lack of consideration and awareness. Texting and driving is a big one. Misusing suicide lanes. Making u-turns where there's no room (see Nicholson Dr in BR). Making a left turn out of the through lane at the light and cutting off everyone in the process. Yeah, it's your car, but autonomy stops as soon as you start driving on public roads.
"Think of the average IQ person; half the people are dumber than that." - George Carlin. That average IQ is all it takes to be allowed to drive.

This is pretty much how I feel about it. Tired of the selfishness and lack of awareness and courtesy.
Tired of people blocking intersections
Tired of people glued to their phones.
Tired of people turning left from the right hand lane.
Tired of people stopping 4 car lengths behind the car in front in a turn lane preventing others from entering the turn lane and clogging up the straight lane.
Yes, I drive on college drive a bunch.

Road rage is an good way to get into a bad situation with someone crazy. There are some extremely low-impulse, mentally unstable folks out there that wouldn't think twice about shooting at you, or using their vehicle as a weapon. Its simply not worth it. And I'm no saint, I've had plenty of road rage in my life, but the older I have gotten, the more I let most things roll off my back and not let it rule my mood. And let's be honest, people that often rage out on the other drives have diagnosable anger problems.
