A couple. Actually had what I described happen at Lew Sterrett Justice Center in the early 80's. I was wearing an Austin Reed suit in there. Had people coming up asking me if I was a drug dealer. Some Latino guy wouldn't quit asking me questions. Then he started telling me about how he used to box and threw out a bunch of slang out, including the N word. I was on a bench across from these two 240 lb, 35 year old black guys who had been having a discussion about which prisons in Texas had the best cafeterias. They were really close to these two guys.


I got up and walked away. As I got about 10 yards away from them, idiots started running past me in that direction. I looked back and saw those guys standing over what must have been the guy that had been bothering me.

Back then they just put you in a huge room built to hold maybe 75 people. This was one morning and there were already about 120 people in there sitting on benches or laying on the floor. No guards, just cameras. If a fight broke out, they just came in, broke it up and segregated the guys in drunk tanks that were built around the big room.

Now they have what looks like a doctor's office or a jury duty waiting room. Rows of benches with arms between seats. There are little guard stations in two areas. You just watch TV until they call your name. Never felt threatened in there.

i can think of a few lsu baseball super fans who definitely expect this.
