I bcc clients on emails to opposing counsel, but only clients I trust not to jump in. Which is now none.
And it would be so convenient to BCC folks. But NOOOOOOO….

Even worse than that is when you send someone a direct email, with no one cc'd in or anyone else on it, and they add a bunch of people with their reply that you didn't intend to see it.

A while back someone had sent out a large distribution email and also emailed me personally about something unrelated in the same time frame.
I typically move at 1000 mph and didn't notice I was responding to the large distribution email. I was horrified and contemplated self-immolation in the parking lot.

Noting worse than these idiots replying all, especially when you work for a company that employs 10s of 1000s of people.
I've learned to right click and ignore the message so i don't have to get a couple hundred emails.
It is truly amazing how many "managers" get into it.
I think anyone that replies all should be docked $100, and $10 for every time someone else replies all. They can all suffer together. I'm pretty sure it'll happened maybe once or twice, and then would never happen again.

Someone replied all to an email saying that the copier was fixed....it was in another office site on the other side of the country.

Isn’t that basically what posting here is, a reply to a large group?

I got in on one of these a few years ago after it was out of hand, and replied something stupid like this thread haz cheeseburger but then it stopped, and mine was the final reply that everyone got to see and I felt like a dipshit.
